Mercy For Animals is an international non-profit animal advocacy organization dedicated to ending the greatest cause of suffering on the planet: the exploitation of animals for food. Mercy For Animals' vision is a world where animals are respected, protected, and free to pursue their own interests.

After 74 years since Donald Watson coined the term vegan in 1944 when he co-founded the Vegan Society in England, vegan leaders from various countries and backgrounds, gathered in Taiwan and ultimately all agreed to unite all Vegan movements within a single organization, later named WVO.

At Vegan Action, we educate and inspire people to become vegan for the animals, for the environment, and for their health - we are working toward the future to make the world a better place for all. In addition, we provide support to sanctuaries and organizations that are helping animals in need - today and tomorrow.
